Joseph A. Kopec
President
Joe Kopec works with men and women at Fortune 1000 companies and start-ups using best practices investor and public relations techniques he's learned from years of award-winning work. He was a managing director with Hill and Knowlton where he was responsible for financial communications and management of corporate businesses in Chicago, St. Louis and Detroit. He was worldwide practice director of communications audits and research at Hill and Knowlton as well. He has worked for many of the world's largest global communications and consulting firms including Edelman and the Dilenschneider Group.
Kopec’s area of expertise is crisis communications for public companies in their dealings with Wall Street and the financial news media. He has advised publicly traded companies on some of the most complex and largest issues in recent years. He has worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies in the news on corporate governance and SEC-related issues.
Mr. Kopec is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America. He has served the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) as chairman of the board and president of Chicago.
Karen K. Kopec
Director of Research
Karen Kopec, co-founder of Kopec Associates, is head of research. She provides advice to clients and associates concerning secondary research sources and comprehensive search assignments on primary research projects. Ms. Kopec received her masters degree in library science from the University of Chicago and was an assistant professor of library science at the University of Illinois Chicago Circle. Ms. Kopec's area of specialty is U. S. government documents and immigration policy.

Arthur W. Miller is a speechwriter and editorial consultant to business and finance executives. He specializes in the written word with high impact and memorable speeches as well as financial presentations, conference calls and news releases noted for clarity and simplicity in discussing complex financial and strategic information for Fortune 500 companies. Miller was vice president, financial communications for BankAmerica Corporation and Bank America NT&SA where he was responsible for the corporation’s public relations and communications strategies, policies and programs during one of the most significant decades in its history.
Sandra Orth
Senior Associate
Sandra Orth specializes in building relationships with Wall Street and Main Street investors, particularly financial analysts at major brokerage firms. She works with clients to organize roadshows and meetings with investors. She conducts audits of investor opinion and advises clients on how to improve their communications with and presentations to institutional investors. Clients find her qualitative interviews with investors and analysts following conference calls and investment meetings useful in clarifying the effectiveness of their communications. Ms. Orth has excellent credentials for creating targeting programs to identify new investors using proprietary databases to bring new investors to a company's investor mix. She's worked for some of the nation's largest investor relations firms.
